Creative Freedom Found in Birthday Invitations

Summer is a big time for Children’s Parties. I’ve been busy creating birthday Invitations for a number of them.

Invitations are probably one of my favorite things to design. I am always surprised at how much creative freedom I get when it comes to designing invitations. Almost anything goes. Below are just a taste of my most recent work.

The boy’s invitation is centered around the fact that he loves Goldfish Crackers. The girl’s invitation is as girly as you can get without going overboard. Both designs worked great and the customers loved them.

If you have a Birthday party or any party coming up I would love to design your invitation. Please check out my contact page to get in touch with me.

Quirky Meets Traditional

This past weekend a wedding took place that I had a hand in creating the invitations. This couple wanted a fun, quirky invitation. They had recently moved from the Colorado where they were¬†avid skiers and wanted me to incorporate mountains and outdoors into the invite. It started with the save the date. I created a 3×3 magnet that people would post on their refrigerator.

Then came the invitations. Here are the first two ideas. One gives and outdoorsy feel and one is very quirky. Although they loved all of the designs, they decided that traditional was the way to go.

This is the final for the invitation package. The Invitation itsself is very tradtional but still has a modern feel to it. Included witht the invite is a postcard R.S.V.P. and a directions card. They were very grateful for my work and I was happy to do it for them.
